Is Mullein Safe in Hypothyroid Condition?

Is it safe to use mullein if you are hypothyroid? I am prone to sinus infections and I thought this might help.
Although it is possible for anyone to have a negative reaction with any herb, it is unlikely that mullein would have a negative effect on hypothyroid. Mullein leaf is usually used for coughs.
