My cousin, 80 yrs. old, has hypoglycemia. Please advise what herbs can help my cousin.

Foods that one would definitely want to incorporate into the diet are blueberries, cinnamon and lemon as these help to regulate blood sugar levels.

I, also, have some sinus problems which are causing a throbbing at the base of my throat. I have never experienced this and wonder if adenoids are involved. Sometimes it causes windedness if I lift something weightier than usual. Ears are affected also.

This really sounds like an underlying dairy sensitivity via a sympathetic referral response which can then affect the ears, adenoids and lungs. Eliminate all dairy products for a few months then slowly reintroduce fermented dairy products such as a good quality yogurt and blue or old cheeses. In the mean time, warming digestive bitters such as anise, fennel, elecampane root, gentian, and catnip can be used to stimulate good digestion and help reduce the irritation that is causing this sympathetic referral. Essential fatty acids such as fish oils and flax seed oil can also be taken to reduce the inflammation and irritation as well.
