I’m looking for herbs to heal damaged scarred vocal cord tissue. I need something fast, cheap, safe, and quick. I’ve gotten scarred vocal tissue from repeated surgeries involving laryngeal papillomatosis. I need herbs to strengthen and help it sound normal!

Laryngeal Papillomatosis is a rare disordered caused by the human papilloma virus. As such treatment should be aimed at treating the virus as well as reducing the scars. Antiviral herbs such as cedar, myrrh, wild indigo, aloe, garlic, and lemon balm could be used along with herbs to help reduce the scarring such as aloe or lavender tea. Herbs that increase the immune system such as Echinacea, wild indigo, ganoderma mushrooms and astragalus as also recommended. Gentle demulcent herbs would also be indicated such as slippery elm, marshmallow root and licorice root powders. Persistence and patience is very much needed.
