I am a professor of Oriental Medicine in Florida and I am taking my class to the selby botanical gardens for a feild trip.I have put together a list of things that are found in the gardens and in the Materia Medica as well.I was wondering if you have a list of things that grow in Florida/ that are in the materia medica as well. For example,

jin yin hua -- honesuckle flower
chen pi -- tangerine peels
pi pai ye -- loquat leaf
zhu ru -- bamboo

are some I know. We will find any other suggestions. I could send you my list if you would like. It would be nice to have you as an acquaintance. I have been interested in locally growing medicinal plants and like to take students on walks here to find useful things. Perhaps you might like to collaborate on something like that?

I am delighted to get your email in which you offered to send me a list of plants and were interested in Chinese herbs. I would like to tell you I don’t have a list of plants growing in Florida. It would be good if you would like to send me this list. As well, I would like to have the opportunities to collaborate on Chinese herbs concerning identification, resources, cultivation and botanical property.
