Greatly enjoyed your book, "The Potential of Herbs as a Cash Crop".

Could you possibly give updated recommendations on who to contact for new or used drying and milling equipment for a very small (one man) operation? I’m planning a turnkey operation (growing, processing, packaging, selling).

The following are product possibilities: chives, paprika, sage, parsley, other?

Your crop list suggests either Texas, New Mexico, or California. Closest best bet for used machinery would be Clark Machine Sales in Newport Beach, California (http://www.recycle.net/equip/mk000731.html).

www.froogle.com will also help find used machinery for spice production. Visit www.herbfarminfo.com for my new ebook, "Herb Processing Facility". The ebook has an updated list of suppliers and other resources.

I am available as an outside consultant, and considered inexpensive. I could help secure used machinery and other protocols needed for a functioning processing center.
