Looking for Source of Wildcrafted Herbs

I am an herbalist in north Georgia, near Chattanooga Tennessee. We infusion cook wild crafted herbs and are always looking for a good supply of herbs.

Do you know of anyone within 200 to 300 miles of us to get these herbs?

I have organized buyers into three basic categories, which one are you? It goes by volume. Are you wanting to purchase in 100-lb, or 1,000-lb quantities? Most smaller tincturers will generally collect their own materials, as going out to gather small quantities of anything can be expensive -- cost of getting there.

Also, it is unclear if you want to purchase from local gatherers, or need materials from other regions of the country. I need more information to properly respond to you question. There are networks providing materials for each level of purchasing. Smaller quantities can become very expensive.

And, the fresh markets mean that the material has to be coordinated with when it is gathers (like on a Sunday), for a Monday overnight shipment delivery. The fresh markets are complicated, so more information is needed to which network you approach. We provide fresh materials from our location to fresh material gatherers in North Carolina, for example.
