Not a question but rather a compliment. I just wanted to tell you how much I love your book, "Prizewinning Preserves". I recommended it to a friend but was sad to hear that it is out of print. Any chance of it being printed again? It’s a fabulous resource and I’ve made many of the recipes (and they have always turned out beautifully). Thanks again for writing such a great book!

Thanks for your compliments on my book. I had a lot of fun developing the recipes for it. Always nice to hear from people making the jams, jellies, marmalades, chutneys, fruit butters and conserves. That’s what I did it for, for peopel to make the recipes. Unfortunately, it will not be printed again by the same publisher. I am looking for a new one. Copies are available at some libraries. If it is re-published I will ask Richter’s to carry it again. I did the same book as a Complete Idiot’s Guide to Jams, Jellies and Preserves (sold in the U.S.) and are the exact same recipes, using half pints instead of 250 mL jars for example, and the U.S. pectin sizes(where needed). You can use comparable sizes of Canadian pectin (Certo and Bernardin products) usually an 85 mL pouch of liquid pectin. Try Amazon link below. They have used copies available too.
