What are the nutritional values of mint?

Mint has the same nutritional value as most leafy greens. They contain small amounts of Vitamins A and C, folic acid, potassium and magnesium. Normally we do not eat herbs in large enough quantities but some recipes that use large amounts and if eaten frequently, can contribute to overall intake. Plus they add great flavour that allows us to enjoy healthy dishes such as vegetables, legumes, whole grains, fish and fruit.
