I am currently taking clomid 100mg. I have PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). My husband just found out that after a respiratory infection he has low sperm count. He is currently taking fertility blend. We were given bitters by a friend who swears by it. Should I stop taking the clomid before using bitters? Should he stop taking his fertility blend before using bitters?

Bitters should be a part of a balanced diet that includes sweet, sour, bitter and salty tastes. Most of us have lost our taste for bitter and do not include bitter foods in the diet. Bitters are needed for good digestion. They are making a return in salad greens such as endive, chicory, sorrel, radicchio and dandelion leaf. Bitters promotes the production of hydrochloric acid and other digestive juices. They are best taken before a meal. There is no reason that bitters should interfere with the effectiveness of medication.
