My daughter had a baby girl . She had a very complicated labour. Her leg became numb and she is not able to walk for now. What herbs are best for healing and pain?

I recommend that your daughter discuss her problem with her doctor to confirm the cause of her numb leg. Numbness usually results from prolonged pressure to a nerve.

In numbness generally, you want to increase the blood circulation to the body part affected and to nourish the nerves. The herbs used can include nettles and yarrow to support blood circulation and skullcap and St. John’s wort for the nerves. These can be taken together as a tea, 2 teaspoons of a mixture of equal parts of the dried herbs (infused for 15 minutes in a cup of boiling water) or they can be taken as tinctures. Herbs should be taken three times a day.

You may also want to look into osteopathy to relieve pressure on the nerve.
