Can you use herbal fluid extracts as a mouthwash when treating medical problems?

Herbal extracts are useful as a mouthwash to limit infections. You can use a few drops of a tincture of myrrh, Echinacea or goldenseal, or a strong tea made of thyme leaves, calendula petals or peppermint leaves.
