Wild Thyme Plugs for Semi-Shade

I would like to order 1 tray of thyme to use as ground cover in a semi shaded area amongst a stone path. Is wild thyme a good choice? Can I order just 1 tray?

Thyme does best in full sun. In shade or semi-shade it does not thrive well and may not perform well in your situation. If you want to experiment, try the creeping thyme. Wild thyme is taller and not as well suited for between stones along a path. It gets up to 6-8 inches in height, while creeping thyme rarely exceeds 4 inches.

Sorry, the minimum for shipped orders is two trays (can be different varieties). This is because of the shipping system we use. If you are picking up trays in person at our greenhouses, there is no minimum order.
